This unique shuttle was developed to save our fingers. In weaving the baskets it is easier to wrap the welt cord or wicker with the wool or fabric with this shuttle, than your fingers.
Made in Montana from solid oak.
Each shuttle is unique due to the grain of the oak.
It fits in the palm of your hand making the wool wrapped or fabric wrapped baskets a breeze. The more you use your shuttle with the wool the more polished & prettier the shuttle becomes!
